About 2 weeks ago @ Forzamotorsport.net On the Pit Pass report the community leader has revealed some info about FM3. Even though he was very secretive about what is really going on in terms of progress, he did mention how exceptional the graphics were.
“The past few weeks have seen the graphics really come into its own and, well, being the eye candy junkie that I am, I’ve been spending quite a lot of time just admiring the game from a visual standpoint. Landin and I spent quite a few days this week taking screen shots just so we could have the hotness on our PC desktops as wallpapers. In fact, others in the studio began taking their own screen shots in an attempt to out-sexy each other’s photos. The end result? A huge folder full of sweet looking screen shots and wallpapers to last us well into next year. The good news is, of course, that when we can share with everyone what we’re building here, showing off the game won’t really be much of a problem. But all in due time… all in due time. Meanwhile, I’m going to continue drooling over our ever-growing portfolio of car porn, if you will.” - Che Chou, Turn 10 Community Leader
Let’s hope this really turns out to be a game with substantially improved graphics. At the end of 2009 into 2010, we should be seeing a host of new racing titles that are really pushing he boundaries of today’s visuals. Need for Speed Shift, Gran Turismo 5, DiRT 2 and others are on the horizon, so Forza also needs to keep their A-game going.
